POWER ELECTRONICS
Our engineers specializing in electronic hardware support you in the development of your electronic power cards, whether for motor control, induction heating management / Peltier module or the creation of batteries and power supplies.
ENGINE CONTROL
The design of our speed controllers will be able to control alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) electric motors such as brushless or stepper motors for powers ranging from a few W to several KW.
1. Main functions :
- Speed Control: Adjusts the speed of the motor by changing the power delivered.
-
Direction: Allows you to turn the engine in both directions.
-
Protection: Incorporates protections against overloads, short circuits and overheating.
2. Typicals compoment :
- Transistors/MOSFETs: To control power.
-
Microcontroller: To receive input signals and manage the outputs.
-
Sensors: To monitor parameters such as temperature or speed.
-
Connectors: For power and interfaces with other systems.
3. Types of drivers :
- Drivers brushless : Gèrent la commutation nécessaire pour les moteurs sans balais.
- H-Bridge: Used to control the direction of a DC motor.
- Stepper Motor Drivers: Use steps to precisely control position.
- Brushless Drivers: Manage the switching required for brushless motors.
In the age of hydrogen and soft mobility, we are also involved in the management of engines powered by hydrogen stacks in order to find the right balance between power and autonomy.
HEATING: INDUCTION / RESISTIVE / PELTIER
We regularly develop sub-assemblies for the industrial and household appliance sectors, integrating resistance, induction or Peltier module heating.
For induction heating, we carry out the dimensioning of the transmitting antenna in order to determine the eddy current compatible with CE standards and your specifications.
During tests on the first prototypes, our thermal cameras will allow us to compare and validate theoretical approaches in practice.
POWER MANAGEMENT / BATTERY AND STACK
An electronic power management card is designed to regulate, control and distribute electrical energy to different components of a system.
These cards are essential in many electronic devices and embedded systems.
Depending on your specifications and CE standards, our engineers will be able to support you in their implementation :
1. Main functions :
-
Voltage Regulation: Maintains stable voltage for components.
-
Consumption management: Optimizes energy consumption according to device needs.
-
Protection: Incorporates overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit protection features.
2. Typicals compoment :
- Voltage regulators: To convert an input voltage into a stable output voltage (linear or switching).
-
Filters: To eliminate interference and stabilize power supply.
-
Charge controllers: To manage battery charging.
-
Connectors: For power and component connections.
3. Types of power management:
-
Linear power supplies: Simple and quiet, but less efficient.
-
Switch-mode power supplies (SMPS): More efficient, they convert energy using electronic switches
